These are the messages that are either generated by SHCC or TRACS. Any messages that you receive from SHCC must be addressed immediately. If you receive a message directly from SHCC, then our system has rejected your transmission. Any Error messages that are generated by TRACS must be reviewed and addressed as indicated on the error message or as indicated in the MAT 30 Guidebook. It is a good idea to address these messages immediately as well, for it will ensure that the data in your system matches the data contained in TRACS. The more error messages you have in TRACS, the bigger the chance of receiving another error message from TRACS. Clean up your certifications as you go to avoid a larger problem down the road.
You can attain a secure connection to view TRACS on HUD’s secure application server (username/password required; see the TRACS site).
You will have an easier time submitting your vouchers and tenant data.
